| Mozilla Firefox | Mozilla Firefox is an increasingly popular web browser. I install this for most of my clients as it is much more secure than Microsoft's Internet Explorer and it has a wonderful plugin called Adblock that blocks advertisements on the Internet. | OpenOffice.org | This is an office suite similar to Microsoft Office. It is 100% free for anyone to use. | |
| PortableApps.com | This is a collection of free portable programs. If you need software to do something, you may want to check here before you go spend your money. Portable programs are basically programs that you don't have to have installed in order to have them work on your computer. | |
